The Magic Valley Festival of Giving was formed in 2012 to support nonprofit agencies of southern Idaho. The goal of the Festival of Giving is to give back to the Magic Valley as a whole. Our sponsors recognize the need to support all local charities and to touch many.
Southern Idaho Landscape Center hosts the Magic Valley Festival of Giving which takes place at the end of November. The event kicks off with the Gala of Giving. Corporate, individual donors and local nonprofit organizations team together to decorate trees and wreaths. The beautifully decorated trees and holiday decorations are on display for approximately 4 days. All proceeds from the Festival go back to local Magic Valley charities and nonprofits.
Guests may linger over cocoa in the lobby or browse among the trees in the beautifully decorated landscape center. This glittery holiday festival includes breakfast with Santa, a silent auction, daily entertainment, and a senior social. Visitors may support their favorite charity by voting for their favorite tree or holiday decoration.
The Magic Valley Festival of Giving is an annual event where the public can join together and support our local charities and nonprofits. Not one, but many, benefit from this festival. With the combined participation of so many charities and being able to help so many at one time, it is a win-win for everyone. Southern Idaho Landscape Center and Farmers National Bank are proud to be the major sponsors of this grass-roots fundraising event.
Tickets for the Gala of Giving are available at Southern Idaho Landscape Center or any Farmers National Bank location. Daily Festival admission is $1, a canned food item or a toy to benefit local charities. Festival admission directly benefits the participating charities through a voting program. All attendees receive a ticket to vote on the tree or decoration of their choice with the specific nonprofit receiving one dollar for each vote they receive.
