Rubus fruticosus 'Chester'
Chester is a thornless and semi-erect variety of blackberry. Medium to large berries are deep black, round and very sweet. An excellent variety for making blackberry wine. Late ripening, Chester is the most winter hardy thornless blackberry and is very resistant to cane blight. Provide support for the vines.
