The leaves of Starling English Ivy are shiny, dark green (pale green when young) with 3 - 5 lobes.Mature plants produce yellow-green flower-clusters, followed by black berries. All parts of the plant are toxic, and contact with the sap may irritate skin, or cause an allergic reaction.
Ivy Basic Care
- Water: Allow the surface to dry out between watering, but ensure the soil doesn’t dry completely.
- Light: Thrives in medium to bright direct light; avoid placing it in low-light areas.
- Soil/Drainage: A typical houseplant soil with good drainage is suitable. Amending the soil with perlite can enhance drainage.
- Temperature/Humidity: Prefers average to cooler household temperatures and humidity levels.
